The Other Side

There is a whole other side
Of me that does not have
The words Multiple Sclerosis
Hanging over my head like a
Great big balloone waiting to
POP and cover me like agent orange
Working into my blood, my brain
And killing my memories of who
I was and who he is and even my
Life and the life I never HAD.
I can say it in four languages
But I cannot get you to LET me
In. No biggie I guess,
EVERYBODY has something wrong in
THEIR little worlds. I wish I could change it.
I wish I had never said YES to you.
