The Other Side

So many preachers tell us the nature of the other side
When we do what they say, with them, we can reside
How intresting that God only speakes to these chosen few
As for the rest of us, they say we have no clue

Sorry to disagree with you oh learned soul
But clearly you have dug for yourself a theological hole
For you are afflicted with the sin of spiritual pride
Your hateful judgement you can no longer hide

The God I know looks at every single beating heart
Not caring about human scores preachers place on a chart
The eternal question set from the begining of time
Reads that the failure to love is the ultimate crime

Love all creation the best you humanly can
Then you've kept faith with the cosmic plan.
