The Moon and Me
The glowing moon transcends into another hushing night,
whilst rustling trees are tilting in her silver rays of light.
Simply listening to my secrets by a grin that’s buttoned tight,
she hears my hearts confessions smiling ever so polite.
Surely every starry wink a promise never to recite
every daring want I whisper to the peaceful knowing night.
The admired incandescence of her realm, so black and white,
Is surpassed by morning’s brilliance as she vanishes from sight.
