The Moon

Elma Bautista Cornell

The distance of you and me
reminds me of the moon-
the pale color that pains me
when can I see you soon?
as it covers by the cloud
I feel a nimbus comes to pour
my heart then beat so loud
oh, I wish it can soar-
so the sky can tell me of you
yet I can not find it true,
how far I go, just let me know-
for couldn't sense a hint or clue.
