The Man's Game

The Man,
Mr. Government,
Big, bad Mr. Establishment,
has his laws and rules in place,
to keep the poor and working class down,
no matter the gender, nationality, sexuality, or race

The Man,
society is all his
one big giant board game,
played like Monopoly,
the world, one big giant square board,
we're all players in his game,
with just a few dollars in the bank,
and plots of land, no two the same

Everyone at birth starts at Go,
and as we age, as we grow,
we go around the board many times,
getting land in certain areas,
getting jobs, making investments,
to earn money,
$200 or more given to us every now and then,
but no matter how hard we try,
the Man gets all our fortune,
there's no such thing as the land of milk and honey,
everyone plays until they are bankrupt or dead
