The Maker

James Johnson 1952 (Algoma, WV)

The Maker…

Who but I can hold your soul in my hand?
You and others may not understand.
I designed all, you and your soul.
Why then hesitate upon my globe?
Look beyond your mind and land.
I designed all including the mold.
Perfect am I and so are you!
Learn through me and not a few.
Staying perfect is only a clue.
Who but I can hold your soul in my hand?
All must learn to understand.
You can live forever my lovely fellowman.
