the lizard

Sometimes I see you in kitchen and sometimes in hall.

You won't even leave me while I answer the nature's call.

Every time I see you it feels like you are going to fall.

I just hate the way you look and the way you crawl.

It is true that you are feeble and small.

It is true that I am fairly stout and tall.

It is true that I shouldn't fear you at all.

It is also true I fear whenever I see you on the wall.

Sometimes I think you hate me as much as I do.

Sometimes I feel you fear me as much as I fear you.

But you never harmed me and I never harmed you too.

So why we both hate and fear each other I have no clue.

May be the hatred and fear is due to difference of color.

May be the language problem is the one other barrier.

May be our different body shapes leads to hatred and fear.

I wish I can talk to you and make everything clear.

Sometimes I feel the same problem is faced by human race.

We all are different from each other in so many ways.

We humans vary from person to person and place to place.

But humans can converse unlike the situation in our case.
