The Leftist

They labeled him a leftist
to his family and friends, he was simply a prophet
A revolutionist against injustice
Walking in the footstep of the unsung John the Baptist.
A mentor for the commoner.

"Tim Hector, Tim Hector, Tim Hector
Tim Hector Tim Hector Tim Hector" shall live forever.

Beaten, sued and jailed for his belief
They try to reject his ideology in an attempt to destroy his legacy.
A historian, a master who defines the English language unlike any other.

"Tim Hector, Tim Hector, Tim Hector.
Tim Hector, Tim Hector, Tim Hector", shall live forever.

From free town to Green Bay, old road to cedar grove lets join hands
together
Come on parliamentarians denounce the stagnant scorn left by Britain racism
And rename our harbor in loving memory of:

"Tim Hector, Tim Hector, Tim Hector
Tim Hector Tim Hector Tim Hector", shall live forever.
