The lamp

All the lights were burning brightly
Glisttening each corner and broom
The hallway was clean and smelled delighted
Wandering through the dark came
A hustle and strong blown wind and
Then the lamps went off
Except for one tiny lamp which was still burning in its oil
Untouched by the hustling wind
The tiny lamp shone strong
Gods gift to mankind is the light which comes from its heart
This is the lamp oiled by education and the glitter of the right
The lamp which will hold on till the end of time!
