The Ignition Fiasco

It is amazing how the turn of the ignition
switch changed my perspective on things
all was well, the forces of nature in synch
I was confident for the day's events
then I turned the ignition switch forward
and nothing happened......
nothingness introducing helplessness
the calm before the storm
anti before the storm?
my rage filled the wire
the telephone book seperated in three parts
as it lied murdered on the cold linoleum
questions of why and how?
the reliability of transportation
imperative for a vision-quest
but things are going to go wrong
even when things are going right
I supposedly knew this
preparedness for life's atrocities
so I am counting cracks in the sidewalk
