The Hole

A heartless world rains down on me,
I seek a place to hide.
My faults displayed publicly,
I crawl in a hole and die.

Hope is fleeing steadily.
No peace now for my soul.
Can't meet this world readily,
I crawl further in that hole.

Now so deep within that cave,
So filled with guilt and fright.
Tis hopeless now, myself to save.
Please guide me to the light.
