The Guppy

Some fish stir the water with a violent swish of their tail, eating all that's in their way!
Then others swim quietly or hide and wait to surprise their prey.
I prefer the Guppy small and inconspicuous but full of life and beauty.
Some people are like the big fish , disturbing the waters or pushing with their mouths or huge bodies!
Then others are quiet like the Guppy. Calm fish, doing what they need to survive!
Never taking more than they can chew and even sharing with others what they have left!
I know a Guppyman who swims calmly through the waters, sharing words of hope and love, and sharing his private thoughts just to make someone smile!
The Guppy doesn't know me or my wife that loves the way he swims through life,
using his words to make our days so bright!
There is a lesson to be learned here you big boisterous fish!
If you feed like a guppy you can catch a whole heart!
Being big and tough sometimes leaves starving!
Be the Guppy
