The Good Fight

External eyes peruse; studying,
Intent on extracting every breach of conduct
To use as leverage to reduce integrity.
Yet, they fuel it, giving ammunition to
A loathsome enemy.
Unabashed, their leaders shave the pelts of their sheep
To make lavish dress; they accept.
Their doctrine, conveniently compromised to
Accommodate inacceptable sub-terrestrial agenda.
Internal hands abuse, violating;
Plundering of its piety & redolent rectitude.
It is they that work His Holy Essence the hardest,
To patch the wounds inflicted, not the infidel.

But, in the midst of turmoil,
There remains a defiance; a resistance to conform
To the advances of perdition,
Glorious luminance committed to quell the shadows
Hell-bent on destruction.
Soldiers whose lips are armed
with Words of wisdom and confidence;
Whose lives are a testament to their defiance.
May they continue to stand and fight,
May their light maintain its brilliance
To overpower the darkness,
Until the day the fight ends and they
Receive their well deserved Medals of Honor.

“Be strong in The Lord and in the power of His might…”
