The Gamble

The not knowing in what is next to come.
How things may flow.
Taking chances in everything.
 A hand of poker
with the best unguesseable faces,
and everything on the table.
 I shake eternally,
but show no fear to the world.
So they don't no my cards.
And I wonder if I should just leave the table
take my loses, and start over . . .
Yet the game is to the end.
And I'm so scared
Of what can go wrong,
and the fear holds me back.
Like any fear should.
 And it's split second decisions,
and no time to think anything to long.
Because nothing waits
The game is being played.
