The Fire
The fire that burns deep inside
Is not love but of hate
Maybe not to you but to me
Your love it is to be to late
Your chance that has floated by
I already gave you my goodbye
Not knowing I am already gone
You whisper to me a sweet song
This fire is deep and will not die
Whispering upon me I know you lie
This fire does not cleanse but burns
My love must be earned
Just walk away into the night
Because leaving you I know is right
