The Faithless Shepherd

She plants earthchild trees sanctifying unity
Skinned away bark, leisurely lain lifeless leaves
upon forest floors of repetitive needs as well as
roots excavated rest, caressed of a breeze
so goeth The Spring to blossom its weeds!

Hidden under her bloodless cloaks, a multitude of
As a dead Moon forever condemned plummets to mud

The faithless slaughter anticipated
solely laughter as stated sin
cherishes itself like fruit tempts help
of passions carnal-
A family owned carnival of perpetual shelves

Her pupils locked not on mercy- at lest of victims beggeth
Oh tragedy schemes! Blood of her children to streams crawl
To herself does not appall

On the way home nothing absolute to ponder
She returns to regular life with kin
Simple livin’

Her choices dumbfound
The Shepherd, Sheep, and even fellow Wolves
Secrets make trust difficult among animals

Alas! The Devil himself is a cannibal
