The Dream Breaker

Like a silhouette in the night,
You creep into my dreams,
And destroy a night of rest.
In a coup to keep control,
You invade my dreams to speak,
But even in that I can see,
The true nature of your games!
Intrusive to say the least,
Destructive to be honestly truthful,
You never wanted to hold my heart,
The dream breaker just wanted to kill.
Return to the darkness of your heart,
Never to be by my side,
Forever and day to be apart,
I have once again been denied.
Tonight I will not close my eyes,
In the darkness I will not sleep.
As the moon goes down I will wait,
Destiny I hold in the hands of fate.
