The Day
The day that the sun kisses the earth softly,
When the reckless waves of the sea calm,
The day the wind chills the bones of the people,
When the mightiest of trees become jaded,
The day natures fires die out forever,
When guns and bombs are demolished,
The day ignorance is cherished once more,
When people can open there eyes again,
The day beauty in life can be remembered,
When diseases, lies and heartache cant hold us back.
They will then see the future,
This is the day that I die.
