The Dawn Of A New Age

It's THE DAWN OF A NEW AGE, turn the page, tell me what you give'n, in this life you live'n. It's still being written, bad karma too, burnt bridges erase'n, the charm in you. Metal detectors set up, at a family bar-b-que, like someone you knew, is harming you. Nerving the calm in you, but why are you nervous... your man left you, and you say he joined the service. You don't even know your purpose, you're live'n a lie, happy go lucky, but at night you cry. You need companionship, but don't understand why, through all your transparent sh*t, you can't keep a guy. You wanna be fly, so you run out and buy, shop til you drop, to hide the feelings inside. You struggle to provide, for your kids so sadly, but reject the neglect, of your kids miss'n daddy. They're growing up badly, as you run through a few, half *ss niggas that don't respect you. Your life is a wreck too... the bills are late, but you got money for the club, isn't your life great. Your child suffered rape, at the hands of a trifle man, but you show no remorse... they wasn't part of your life plan. Your kids are your life span, attention they thirst, but you put that hot spot between, your legs you got first. Your emotions about to burst, cause you know it ain't right too, your daughter's growing up, repeating your life cycle. Your son don't like you, or the things you do, so when he becomes of age, he'll be a womanizer too...
