The Damage Done

Here the damage-Here the collateral misadventure's
When you divided the clouds
And razed the mountians like stones-
Are passing through like a sword heated-
To the strength of stars
Wondrous in beauty
Deadly in the palm-
Wherein you held my tears like
The chalice of Jesus dying
Where my tears felt like the cruelest rain
Boiling on my face flushed with an ease
That stunned my pride like a father leaving,
Like a  mothers silences in the grip of twilight
Where nothingness inflicts
In the utmost solitude
Here on the floor counting pieces-
Of daisies-Of the roses burnt by my own cruel hand
The vicious oceans are churning
Here in my loveless eyes
And I think. And I feel.
Your ghost rising in my briny seas.
