The Cottage

Take your thoughts to a cottage that is yours
It sighs "hello" as you push aside the door
How it looks and how it feels
Is something for you to reveal
The hallway bright the hallway long
Somewhere inside is a beautiful song
First room to the right
Appears in black and white
This has the things from yesterday
Stored in monochrome to hide them away
Look upon the memories
Taste their sense and smile
You have been living with this stuff for quite a while
No longer does it sting
To veiw the cluttered things
But a numbing desire to let go
As if you didn't know
Take a breath of coloured light
Beautiful and clean in its own divine right
Blow away the cobwebs and see what is left
An empty coloured room ready for a rest
Onward through the hall
Of this cottage that is all
The things in your mind
That you have stored away
To come and see on this brand new day
The next room is such
That it always has enough
This is the dreamers room
Where its always midafternoon
And the magic of the colours
Of every single day
Come to this space to dance, sing and play
Everything is possible, every wish comes true
Thoughts manifest within me and you
So scoop up this magic and hope
In your arms like a giant envelope
Scatter the things in every room
And things will be happening very soon
Every part of your mind so bright
Is now the home of magical light
