The Cosmic Melody

Once I heard a wonderful melody-
I heard it only for a moment
 And then it stopped.

But the tune never quite left me
It touched me every now and then
During the busy hours of sunny days
During the lazy hours of rainy days
During the dreamy hours of moonlit nights
During the silent dark hours of starry nights.

The tune was originated somewhere unknown
It might have come from the heart of creation.
It began long before the beginning of life
It resonated on the nascent planets
On the pulsating hearts of the newborn stars-
On the blue arms of the huge spiral galaxies
On their mysteriously powerful radiating hearts.

An eternal melody of cosmic love
It touched me only once for a moment -
And that moment became eternity.
