The Circus (Of Foolish People)

People swaying to and fro,
No one knowing where to go;
They are there, we are here,
A now we see them disappear.

It is alright - not too wrong,
Yet still they seem to roll along,
Into the dust, the grime and pitch;
Who do you know that really gets rich?

Circus of foolish people - don't know why;
Circus of foolish people - just can't seem to cry.

None cares, no one wants.
No one likes them anymore:
They will have to go away,
Out and through that lonely door.

They were once loved - but that is all:
Were not wanted - there's a difference - you know.
The car, the car ttransports them there,
And now the fools do nothing but stare.
