The Choice

The body dies.
The spirit lives.

Food is nourishment.
It is for both body and spirit.

What the body takes in should be
"Just enough" that the spirit is
Light, not "heavy."

And "just enough" is not only
What is for the stomach, but also
For the eyes, ears and heart.

The spirit lives within...
And it is what gives the body LIFE.
And LIFE is living it, always
Considering both body and spirit.

When the body dies, the spirit leaves...
Either happy or uneasy.

Because the spirit lives, when it leaves
The body, where it will go hereafter,
Is a matter of choice.

For me, the choice is elementary.
