The breaking of the day

Early morning frost
lay in the remnants of the night,
like fallen teardrops lost,
upon the edges of the light.

The moon still lingers in the sky
with stars that fade away,
the horizon glows, though mystify,
at the dawning of the day.

The wind in silence paint the sea,
when drawn the mist away,
like curtains of eternity
before the break of day.

Then as the sun begins to rise,
the eastern sky caught blaze,
like the opening of a dragons eyes
with golden, amber rays.
