The Bay of Biscay

The dark blue sky melts into a golden
band that blends into an orange haze
which softly touches the ocean.
Hills in the distance
spark eerie green glows
that fade into blackness.
Tiny boats silently move
like silk upon glass.
Beneath,
a translucent turquoise liquid
slowly soaks the sand
and drinks of my hand.
A warm breeze invisibly strokes
this jewel of Spain
in all of it's unbroken glory.
