The Answered Prayer

Patience the lord said to me
All will come that's held in you destiny
you must accept the things that I have planed
For I hold your life in the palm of my hand
Be aware you're not alone
The devil he has plane of his own
He will tempt you to day
He will tempt you tomorrow
He will try to drown you in a life of sorrow

You must have faith in my love for you
Like so many others already do
Do not try to understand each passing day
Look at the whole picture along the way
Patience the lord said to me
All will come that's held in your destiny
