The Angels And Me

As I look into the sky,
I can hear the angels cry.
They closely observe me
and weep at what they see.
My pain, the angels do know,
in time, will surely go.
I'll sit and wait for that time to come;
Although the angels won't allow me to be numb.
They'll permit me to feel all of the hurt.
Suddenly one will grab me by the shirt.
He'll pull me toward heaven with all of his might.
I won't even try to put up a fight.
Once I'm there, I'll be in peace at last.
Boy, I hope that time comes fast.
