The All Wrecking Time

It is said,
that all wounds heal with time,
that with time, it will all be alright,
Yet you and I, we both know,
that this is a lie.

Wounds given time will bring sadness,
Sadness breeds fear.
And with fear comes hate, the All-Wrecking hate,
That brought upon us God's wrath time and time again.

When wounds heal,
defying time,
They heal crooked,
and leave a feeling of what is now lost.
Fear the time coming,
But do not wait.

It is said that all wounds heal with time,
But we know lies when told.
