Tell Them.

I died a thousand deaths when I thought it was goodbye.
Well I had nothing left- but a million tears to cry.
This heart that beats inside me just seemed to stop for a while.
When everything is broken, there's no reason left to smile.

I wondered if you hurt for me too,
but I had no way to know.
But deep inside I knew,
you would never let me go.
Though people built them walls between us,
I guess we'd have to learn to climb.
They locked us behind bars,
although love was our only crime.
So tell them we're in love,
tell them you need me,
baby- tell them I'm the one,
that you love completely.
So tell them you're staying,
 they can't keep us apart,
baby I'm praying,
that they can't control your heart.
Just prove that I mean more,
than all the problems they're creating,
show them what loves for,
by conquering the hatred.
Tell them we're happy,
we're unbreakable!
Show them baby,
that they can't break our love.

EMAIL ME AT sofisweetie@hotmail.com or add me on facebook for info on my other writing! https://www.facebook.com/SophieLarrrrrMarieMy name is Sophie Marie Roberts. I'm nearly 20 years old and I live in Wrexham, North Wales. I write poetry because it's one of the things that comes naturally. When I was a child I would try to write a diary like everyone else my age but I ended up with a book of poetry. I find it the easiest way to express what is happening in my mind too (which, in some cases, worries me- since my poetry is rather bizzare!) I don't have any diploma's, certificates or qualifications that tell me I should write but I write anyway. I hope people like my poetry- but I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea- but I hope it's yours. ALSO; PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ALLTHOUGH I WROTE 'THIS POEM MEANS' UNDERNEATH MY POEMS- I'M MERELY STATING WHAT IT MEANT IN MY HEAD. PLEASE INTERPRET MY POETRY HOWEVER YOU WISH. http://www.booksie.com/mystery_and_crime/short_story/inksplodges/bitter-freedom/chapter/1 < one of my short stories. more…
