Tears

Tears of a broken soul.

I can't even think of how to let it all go.

The only way to share my true pain.

Is by sharing it to the world, and sharing it again.

So much inside.

I cry when my fingers type.

My mind is so broken.

Eyes  can't see the bright light.

I love my family.

I love my friends.

Hopeful that the pain.

Will leave me instead.

So many nights, I've cried myself to sleep.

No matter how much, my thoughts seem to creep.

Wishing I was, in another time, in another place.

Another world would be better, then the one I can't escape.

I love writing. I am new to this site but I hope to share my words with people who love the art of poetry. I find inspiration in my every day life style. Writing is a gift. Some people can do it and others can't. I look forward to reading great pieces and writing a few of my own. more…
