Teach Me

Teach me how to play with words
How to start weaving a whole new world
How to create a novel throne
When the old one gets torn.
How to bring a tune in the light
That lies aloof out of sight
Lend me a lonely song to sing
A trick to knot the broken strings
Teach me how to smile when you got sting
A secret to fly with broken wings.
How to run behind a shadow
As shadow leaves no mark behind
How to read a sign
When there is no sunshine
How to stop tears
When the darkness whispers in your ear
Break free but secure in a lousy year
When no one is there except your fear.
