Tap Water

What should I do to plug the leak?
To ease the pain of that incessant dropping
and pitting patting
against the fragile surface.
Like a universe magnified a thousand times
or a tear drop lost
from the face,
how does one refrain from hopelessness?
As though an anchor thrust in the heart,
now so carelessly removed,
does my emotions flow.
But to reanchor would be of
greatest difficulty for such a violent
turbulence
may leave you stranded in a place
incapable of grounding.
And even if that leakage I should fix
there is no saying that the
solution is in
the fixing.
What damage is done when tap water flows
at its
will.
