Take away

Take away what you have given
take away whats not mine
leave me with my misery
You will still be called divine

If You want me to die
let me die right now
don't put me through this agony
and don't bind me in any vow

They say, this is not yours and
that you don't deserve,
how long I have to abide by them
and how long these people I have to serve?

It was your wish I came here
It was you who made me do what I did
Now why do you stop me from everything
and why do my acts you forbid?

For all you did was to let me suffer
Promising me the fruit later
When I tried to fly high n free
You put my wings on fetters!

Oh! you ought to be kidding
When you say you care;
I've held myself out of respect,
It's not that I don't dare

You say this is a test
For what I've been sent
But you always make me fail
and make me always repent!

Why am I to be blamed
for what YOU are controlling?
Why should I suffer and
quietly take the mauling?

I know you'd never answer,
never uncover the mystery
You'd never tell me why
I was just let to die!

I'd still wonder
thinking of this in my grave
Why did I exist when
At last I had to be depraved!?
