Symphony of love

Song of life,song of love
all of us notes of high or low
in this melody of a tune
together we live in this world
like flowers opening their pedals
making no sound yet a symphony to behold
a prism of colors like a rainbow
a pearl from an oyster in the sea
keys of black and white keeping rythm
with the beats of a drum
like thunder after lightning
a steady beat of licks
like rain on a tin roof
a song from above,
a song from within,
taught strings being strummed
making some of us croon
this song of life, this song of love
reaches out to be sung
by one and by all.
