Swerving From The Right Path

Strange are the ways of this world,
Amidst the trials and tribulations of life,
The numerous struggles in life,
We often stray from the conventional routes,
Few deviate for their convenience,
While a few others due to compulsions,
The arrogant students desert their masters,
Once they feel that they have learnt enough,
Leaning on the support of their children,
Few wives try to dilineate their husbands,
Mibnisters scheming against a weak king,
The tendency of one-up-manship continues,
Tempting people to swerve from their right paths,
And for them, the concept of truth is a misnomer,
Just a matter of convenience to serve their interests.
