Tell us lies with a perfect grin
To feed the hope we hide within
Editors of the poet's soul
Know not of a poet's goal
Prizes are plenty for pandering fools
None are awarded when slandering rules
Preachers and teachers all tell us the truth
Whilst milking away our dwindling youth
Incoherant babblings awarded in life
As rebelious spirits are killed in the strife
Artists all talk of the fast fading day
Throw some money and watch em slip 'way
They've got a silver chalice for me
To capture all the dreams I bleed
