Sunday Lies

I wait for the bells to ring,
Wondering what joys they'll bring.
The sound we've been waiting for plays.
But the feelings we hope for are astray.
What I hear is sad, meant to be happy,
But if THAT'S really supposed to be happy, it's crappy.
These are the Sunday morning lies.
