Sun

His brilliance radiates the sky,
And his smile's calmly bright.
His softly textured rays are high,
Which creates a magnificent light.
As I breath in I know he's there,
Watching upon the earth.
His golden eyes are very rare,
And this world is what he's worth.
He protects me from the rain,
And the stormy, oblivious snow.
All of the power he must contain,
Benefits all living things to grow.
His intelligence makes things seem so easy,
Yet the accomplishments are only his.
He fights the wind when it gets breezy,
And his tender shine is like a kiss.
Who is it we have to thank
For keeping seasons fun?
When he's gone the sky is blank,
But thank God for the sun.
