Summertime Dishes

Iced cold lemonade anyone?
How about some watermelon?
A little bbq in the backyard
Or a picnic in the park
Hanburgers, hot dogs, ribs
Corn on the cob, even some shrimp
Throw in some potato salad
And now we're talkin' good eatin'
Plus an added swimming pool
To hang out in and be cool
A little volleyball at the beach
Or whatever your favorite thing to do is
We're talkin' fun in the sun
What ever you decide to have and do
Just make sure to relax and enjoy
Watch the fireworks show in July
Take your vacations and be happy
And make the whole summer fun

Eric Barkley

I write from my mind and heart, with many different inspirations. Mostly God & Jesus Christ. I try to include all aspects of my life, even the insanity that encompasses my thoughts. I hope everyone is at least intrigued, if not blessed by what is written. Peace to you all. more…
