Summers Joy
It's been a long time now
since I have felt so secure.
Surrounded with love from my friends.
The phone rings. I tremble with anticipation.
Will it be him? The one who shines so bright.
I hoped it could happen but you know...
One day I wrote about my dream guy.
All the things I hope for in a man.
His love for God foremost...
and his willingness to share that love with me.
Our God is so gracious I am overwhelmed.
What began quietly has become a tornado.
There lives still in this age of man
one known as Prince Charming.
A man to ride the river with,
someone meant just for me.
We can talk for hours and often do,
never tiring of each others company.
Of course the call was him and really I must go.
After all we have so much catching up to do.
