Summer's Composition

As summer's beauty streaks across the sky
I watch drops of personal attachment
spiral light towards an amorous earth;
yesterday's cool intelligent design
in shades of nature's wonderful power.

Billowed clouds linger in autumn's presence,
soft grey shapes roam a sensual theatre
and recite an historic battle's theme,
the future's security is blown through
wisdom's realms of sweet possibility.

Love weeps coloured heartbeats into thunder
with her passionate promises of time
as lightning's quiet stealth cracks energy -
she's a bolt of spiritual art
in a vision's sparkled intensity.

In the loom of endearment sighs spin notes;
miniature scrolls of poetry's fast voice,
a seascape's imagery is caught in frames
while improbable strokes of pleasure dance
invisible beams of composition.
