Summer's Birthday

What a crazy year?
God has been gracious to me.
Life turned upside down and
rightside up at the same time.
What seemed important no longer matters
new ideas and special friends fill my days.
Is it possible to get older and feel younger?
To experience God in a fresh new way?
Can Dreams be made different than before?
Though the day is overcast the Son shines bright.
My friends wish me a "Happy Birthday"
the cards and flowers are wonderful.
Yet above all else my Father watches over me.
So my friends though it appears I may be older
inside I am younger than I have been in years.
So come join the party. Sing the songs.
Birhdays after all...can be fun!
