Storm Surge

I see the black clouds rolling in
there is an eeire feeling in the air
suddenly out of no where, a rush of wind
it reminds me of the night I left you there
I remember you begging me to stay
the words whistled through my head, gone
the alcohol in me helped me walk away
and you were there crying all alone
I think about all the things I did wrong
seems all I cared about was my friends
you warned me that it would not be long
before our love was damaged by the wind
but there is a storm raging inside of me
so hard to bare the thought of losing you
I was the one who tore your world apart
broken in every way, shape, and form
the calm before the storm
it is peaceful and beautiful
it will submerge you in your sorrows
and leave you to die in all your tomorrows
