Stars Of Leaven

Why do we call actors stars, is it to keep from looking
To heaven,
Are we the lump and these stars, are'acting'
As the leaven,
Why look to heaven, if the stars are here on earth,
And what is this talk, of a man from a virgin birth,
They are making movies all the time, and many that offend my spirit,
Movies like the davinci code, my brothers don't you hear it,
The problem is our world's so wrong, we've gotten ourselves immune,
Pray right now the Holy Spirit, will put you back in tune,
God's ways are not our own, His thoughts are higher too,
So dont follow the lies and fill your eyes, with things that aren't true,
I certainly don't speak as one without sin, there is much I have had to
Confess,
But daily now even by the hour I seek forgiveness, that he might bless, Guard your eyes and cover your ears, don't take in what is sin,
This takes practice and constant care, for satan is trying to
Get in,
So choose this day whom you will serve, and do not turn away,
If your choice is the lord, then for you I will pray.

Troy Kaneer

I have been writing for about 20 years. Found I could rhyme a little and still say something. Was led to use this for the Glory of God and His Son my Saviour. I do write some personal poems but it seems that God gets in those too. It is appropriate though because He is my life. more…
