Spring Queen

The green leaves with yellowish tints on their breasts
are very responsive to the cuckoo-voiced wind of Spring
Girls clad in yellow saris
walk upon the streets
as if they are Cleopatras of 1993`s
Boys wicked and wild
soft and cold in different guises fix their eyes
to these moving flowers that offer dearness and dreams
to these boys` tender touching hearts
And o, and o
Do lo,do lo
The buds are no more there on the trees
but flowers and blossoms of the spirited Spring
Roses,roses
Red,red,red
Green leaves are everywhere
to greet the Queen of Spring.
