Finding myself strangely attracted
to the back of this girl's head
Walking along Spring Garden Street
A kit of pigeons hop a round my feet
Edgar Allen Poe is dead
leaves are falling from the trees in his backyard

Her hips move as if
they were trying to escape her body
I'm in love
Oblivious

Eyes fixed on her figure
I walk through a red light on Broad Street
A sedan spins out of control
Blood on my shirt
I had my eye on this girl
strangely attracted to the back of her head
Strangely attracted to
a dead girl
A flock of pigeons prance around my feet
