Spin On Truth

Some lie to save their faces. Some lie to save their skin.
Some lie to save their places. They give the truth a spin.

Some lie to save their glories. Some lie to save their rank.
Some lie to save their stories. They give the truth a yank.

Some lie to save their fribbles. Some lie to save their score.
Some lie to save their quibbles. They give the truth a door.

Some lie to save their labors. Some lie to save their day.
Some lie to save their neighbors. They give the truth away.

Some lie to save their degrees. Some lie to save their grade.
Some lie to save their decrees. They give the truth a shade.

Some lie to save their taxes. Some lie to save their loot.
Some lie to save their faxes. They give the truth a boot.

Some lie to save their arrests. Some lie to save their name.
Some lie to save their contests. They give the truth a frame.

Some lie to save their beliefs. Some lie to save their faith.
Some lie to save their debriefs. They give the truth a scathe.

Some lie to save their deceits. Some lie to save their fib.
Some lie to save their defeats. They give the truth a squib.

Some lie to save their angers. Some lie to save their rant.
Some lie to save their tempers. They give the truth a slant.
