Sphie

Better than any kiss, the softness of her face, the firmness of
her grip, only wish it to last, that first embrace

Her eyes like crystal reflecting eons of wise, gave in
so deep, a moment cappuccino rich, came as a surprise.

Should we meet again? she said she'd take the chance. Do
you think we should do that? her faith quite willing to dance.

I lie awake wishing mine was as strong a faith,
finally my eyes fall closed, the moon-lit night their veil,
our story beginning to take shape.

Were it meant to be?
no need for plans, utterance of love,
numbers written on backs of hands,
only a belief and it woud be set free.
