With transparency I liquidise love,
an odourless imagination smiles;
fresh-flow rain in the mind’s open expanse,
and you quiver in excitement’s beauty
while anticipation eagerly sighs.
Lavender meets lemon as a sweet kiss
surfaces to bless spirits below sky.
I cap thirst with verse as the afternoon
sips on sleepy eyes; fluttered dreams awake.
Pour freedom; pure, into the throat’s curled swerve,
quench desire’s fascination with wonder -
a gift from me to you in coloured shapes:
an origami masterpiece; complex
but simple in its subtle delicate
form that twists into a scream of cool yes
as it seeks the definitions within.
Drink slowly, let poetic devices
saturate your tongue’s rough edged flicking way,
and you will dance the dance of an angel
under Heaven’s lustrous patterns of life.
